Why it's in the guide
The London outpost of the legendary Parisian bakery, tucked away on Elizabeth Street. The signature miche, a massive, round sourdough loaf baked in a wood-fired oven, is one of the best breads you'll eat in London. The punitions (butter cookies) are insanely addictive, and the apple tarts are a thing of beauty. It's a small shop, no frills, just world-class bread. Worth the detour for serious bakers and bread lovers.
The sourdough miche has been made the same way in Paris since 1932
