The boulangerie-patisserie on Chelsea Green that's become a pilgrimage site for the SW3 set. Everything is made daily on site, handmade pastries, sourdough bread, cakes, artisan chocolate, and ice cream. The croissants are flaky perfection, the pain au raisin is dangerously moreish, and the bread loaves disappear by mid-morning. It's pricey, but this is Chelsea Green and the quality genuinely justifies it. A proper neighbourhood institution.
The chocolate shop is two doors down at 24 Cale Street — go for the mendiants.
