Holy Trinity Sloane Square

Arts and Crafts church with Burne-Jones windows

Why it's in the guide

A magnificent Arts and Crafts church at the top of Sloane Street, designed by John Dando Sedding in the 1880s. The interior is extraordinary, the east window designed by Edward Burne-Jones and made by William Morris is one of the largest and finest examples of Arts and Crafts stained glass in existence. The church hosts regular concerts and recitals alongside services. A quiet, beautiful space that most people walk past without knowing what's inside.

The Arts and Crafts east window by Burne-Jones is spectacular
