Why it's in the guide
Bill Granger's Chelsea outpost on Pavilion Road is an all-day Aussie restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, not just a coffee stop. The ricotta hotcakes are legendary for a reason, light, fluffy, and perfectly caramelised, but the broader menu and relaxed, sun-drenched energy are what keep it busy from morning into evening. Great flat whites, excellent scrambled eggs, proper lunch and dinner service, and a room that somehow feels like a beachside restaurant despite being a stone's throw from Sloane Square. Get there early on weekends or prepare to queue.
The ricotta hotcakes started a global obsession. Still worth the queue
