Chelsea's primary tube station and the gateway to King's Road. Served by the District and Circle lines, it's in Zone 1 and connects you to the rest of London quickly, Victoria in one stop, Westminster in three. The station itself is pleasant by tube standards, with a decent flower stall outside and the Royal Court Theatre right next door. Rush hour is predictably busy but manageable. The starting point for any Chelsea visit.
No lifts, so plan around stairs with a buggy or luggage. Victoria is one stop away when you need mainline trains.
