Why it's in the guide

A ribbon of carefully maintained gardens running along the Chelsea Embankment between Albert Bridge and Chelsea Bridge. Sheltered benches, mature plane trees, and stunning views across the Thames to Battersea. It's a lovely spot for a morning walk or an evening stroll, the light over the river at sunset is beautiful. Small enough to be intimate, long enough for a proper walk. One of Chelsea's most underrated outdoor spaces.

Claim a bench near Albert Bridge at dusk — when the bridge's thousands of lights come on, it's the best free view in Chelsea.
